| Lead Trumpeter Steve O'Callaghan is a graduate of ASU, and has been with the EDBB from its inception. He has been working in the Phoenix area for over 20 years and has played with too many acts to mention. Steve is the graphic artist for the band, and more importantly, "assistant to the head roadie." Steve is also a published political cartoonist and is well known for his golfing prowess...he "claims" to be a scratch player. Dave Coolidge splits the lead book with "SteveO", and is known as the "workingest" trumpet player in Phoenix. Because he doesn't have a day job, anyone that doesn't live in a cave has probably heard Dave in a show, concert or other local performance setting sometime in the last seven years. He came to the valley of the sun from Orlando, FL where he worked for eleven years as a lead trumpet player at Walt Disney World. He is also a graduate of Indiana University, where he received a Masters degree in Trumpet performance with a Jazz minor. Coby Boyce currently resides on the Jazz book, and adds a little taste and subtlety to the section. He came to the Phoenix area from Vancouver, BC, Canada, and has been a regular member of the band for two years now. When he is not playing music, Coby is a real estate tycoon, and runs a successful ATM business. He also LOVES jokes about Canadians... Rounding out the section on "screech", occasional lead, and yes, even jazz is Clark Krueger, who is only allowed to play in the band because he owns it... (plus he's also a darn fine emcee, and buying the drinks doesn't hurt). Joining us again soon will be long time EDBB veteran "Grandpa" Rod Wolber.
